A black box theatre may appear to be only four black walls and some lights, but it can be transformed into far more than that. It is a space that contains human emotions, comical stories, fragments of dreams, and ghosts of memories, all animated by a company of players.

​

An evening exploring what’s inside our Black Box with a collection of short plays and monologues developed, written & performed by The People’s Company. These new, original pieces showcase how a black box can be a transporting place that takes audiences on a theatrical journey to witness traces of humanity, spanning the spectrum of human emotion.
